Hi,

My name is Laura and I passionately believe the key to feeling body confident is through believing in your own abilities and I wanted to share my journey with you.

I have always been interested in sport, fitness and living a healthy life. From playing hockey at the age of 14 through to competing in a bodybuilding competition at the age of 32. I have great memories of a variety of events that I experienced in that time, but also some not so great!

I have been coaching in the fitness industry now for 3 years and I love it! Meeting anxious women and helping them to unlock their potential is the best job in the world!
In my 3 years, I have noticed a common trend in the body image department of life and that is; the unrealistic images that are advertised make us feel rubbish about ourselves. Then, we punish ourselves because we believe that over exercising and restricted eating are the only way to achieve our goals.

I have suffered with my mental health over the years, but after I competed I was in a very dark place and I too believed the above. Until I was shown how powerful self-belief was and that by loving myself and taking care of my mental health first, I could achieve my physical goals safely and not be restricted.

Now, I have created a safe community for like-minded women to begin their journey, to love what they see in the mirror.

    Laura is a great PT and Coach. I have been working with her for just over 1 year and it’s the best decision I have ever made. We have worked on mindset, workouts, nutrition and habits. I have learnt a lot from Laura which I am actively using now and it has helped me become much more happier and confident with myself! I can’t recommend Laura enough, it’s hard taking that first step but it is 100% worth it.

    I first met Laura when I was in a very low place mentally. She helped me see the positives and develop my mindset, through an empathetic approach. She listened, supported and provided excellent advice which helped bring me back to being me. I now not only use her advice everyday but have helped others around me through sharing her advice. I have a whole new relationship with food and view of exercise, without Laura I honestly can’t imagine being so happy in my own skin.

    I haven’t been with Laura long but in the first few week of starting with her I have been so motivated and I’m happy already. I have made some great healthy changes. It doesn’t feel like a chore like yo yo dieting, I don’t have to restrict or cut out and foods I love. No strict food plan, your in control which is what I love. Laura reads into the mind which you can relate to and you get the brain ticking. I’m loving the plan and have seen amazing results and healthy habit changes already and can’t wait to reach my goal. Overall friendly down to earth and certainly approachable at all times when ever needed. Best program I have ever tried and I have tried all you can think of finally I found hope. Best decision I have made and can’t wait to carry on!!!

    Laura has been amazing through this pandemic. Adapting so quickly and making sure everyone is safe but still motivated and that has been so important to me in keeping me positive through the lockdown.
    The community she has built for all of us has been amazing and I can honestly say I have never felt better about exercising and understanding my diet and nutritional requirements.
    Recommend so highly!

    For anyone who has confidence issues with exercise, Laura is the best PT for you! I used to hate exercise due to my size and found it boring and such a chore, Laura makes exercising fun and you don’t even realise your exercising most of the time. Laura has helped me combat so many issues I was facing with nutrition, exercise and mindset and although I’m not where I want to be just yet, with Laura’s endless support and coaching I know I will get there! Laura never gives up on you and will stand by your side through every up and down! I won’t go elsewhere now!

    We’ve all been to classes that profess to be friendly and fun with no cliques, and when you get there they are far from that, leaving you feeling a bit out of sorts and wondering why you went in the first place.
    I became aware of Laura’s bootcamp session via Facebook through a friend “shall we give this a go?” she said. Immediately, the anxiety and dread flooded through me, but I said yes anyway, expecting the same experiences I’d had before.
    I contacted Laura with my expression of interest, and I explained that I was very nervous. Expecting the usual regimented reply just letting me know times and prices. What I got was very different. I got a voice note straight away from Laura explaining all the details and an admission from Laura that she was nervous too. She had lots of new starters that week.
    When I arrived at bootcamp I was welcomed by a bunch of friendly, approachable ladies who all smiled at me and made the effort to make me feel welcome.
    Laura advocates exercise being fun, if you don’t want to do something, you don’t have to do it. If you are injured (like me) she always provides you with alternatives. The workouts are tough, but they are masqueraded in a way that makes them fun. A clever thing to be able to do! Bootcamp is never the same each week, Laura changes things up for us – making it fun and every session different.
    If you want to join a club where exercise feels like punishment, this is definitely not for you. If you want to join a club which is social, fun, friendly and supportive then this it is.
    I’ve been a member of bootcamp now for a couple of months and I look forward to every session.
    Laura offers lots of services which cater for all budgets and this really helps, particularly post lockdown. She has created a community where, together, we support one another through various platforms, and this is what makes what Laura does so different.

    I have been working with Laura for a few years now and she is amazing. She is always there but not in a pushy way. She always has my best interests at heart and is a kind and genuine person. Her boot camps are so much fun and I think that is the key. If your exercise is fun and the people around you are having fun you have a much better chance of success. She makes it achievable by helping you target set, manage expectations and provides real food choices. I have certainly been on many fad diets and they may work for a bit but you then put the weight back on. She makes you feel good about yourself because she is positive and she has a can do attitude. She has changed my mindset completely for the better and after the bootcamp I feel ready to tackle anything. Laura you are a gem! X
